Organic ApparealOrganic cotton is grown without chemical pesticides or fertilizers, and without GMOs. The water consumption necessary for its cultivation is reduced by at least half compared to traditional cotton. Thus, the cultivation of organic cotton is more respectful of the planet, by preserving the soil, the ecosystems and the people who work on the production chain.
Organic wool is a natural fiber from certified organic agriculture. This means that the sheep have been raised in a certified organic farm, according to the standards set by the Ministry of Agriculture. The standards of this production require strict rules to prohibit any animal abuse. Organic production is an example of good practice, of a sustainable system that respects both the planet and animal welfare.
